Classified Service positions offered at the university are within the province of NYS Civil Service. Some positions are within the competitive class service and some are non-competitive or labor class.

Competitive and non-competitive vacancies are published as contractually required for the required variety of days and, in general, university staff members are thought about initially for jobs.

Competitive
